There are 35 athlete places on the camp plus 8 coaches, organised by Alex Little (Camp Administrator) and Liv Ross-Hurst (Head Coach).
Mallorca is amazing value for money and is a highlight of the club calendar owing to the amazing weather (most of the time), fantastic and varied cycle routes, chilled out camp set-up, and our a-la-carte training schedule.
Whether you are a novice or a seasoned triathlete, you’ll enjoy training under blue skies with coastal runs, pool and/or sea swims, stretch sessions and great riding with epic climbs and descents, lovely villages, and obligatory café stops.
Our base is a great hub for the cycling, we have a heated 25m training pool which we have reserved for the morning and afternoon training sessions and we are 250 yards from the beach where the open water swim coaching takes place. There are also great trail or coastal runs.
Camp is a great way to get to know other members of the club – albeit there may be some COVID related measures which may influence our usual series of talks, pub quiz and social opportunities.
We look forward running a COVID safe programme with a balanced series of Swims, Runs and Rides from Sunday to Friday, with the Saturdays being travel days.
We’ll have a comprehensive schedule of sessions to choose from across the week – you can do as many or as few as you wish – all delivered
by very experienced and highly qualified club coaches.
Apart from the joy of cycling, we expect highlights will include an athletic track run technique session, open water swim technique masterclasses, a long trail run and daily stretch sessions.
The camp will cater for members of all abilities* and offer a great opportunity to improve your technique and learn top tips from the team on a range of subjects – from descending technique to race nutrition to injury avoidance.
*The only pre-requisite to joining the camp is that you can swim 400m continuously (any pace) and complete 4 laps of Richmond Park in 1hr 45mins.
7 nights, 2 people sharing a 2 person chalet: €510 per person (to be charged in GBP based on the exchange rate at the time). The price includes:
