Race Results w/c 20th Nov

Plenty of awesome results this week (even some exotic triathlons) but my love of talking has got the best of me so here are a few racing related announcements first.

Looks like the Christmas bash tickets flew off the shelf so should be a great night, befriending randoms and celebrating all of our great achievements …

As I often say, still plenty of time to get your name here: First up for the boys: Saturday 2nd December is the 3rd (and yet again crucial) cross country. Speak to Mark Benton for full details. Race and get your name here (unless I forget you!).

Next up and one of the funnest events of the year: the Mob Match. Our annual face off against Thames Turbo will this year be held at Bushy park’s Parkrun. Turn up for a 9am start on Saturday 9th December with your bar code (make sure to set your club affiliation to Ful-On Tri on the Parkrun website).

Right, now onto the meaty stuff! Capping off a fantastic season, Sarah Lewis was racing at the Bahrain 70.3 (also the Middle East 70.3 champs) and grabbed a well earned 7th overall place. Congratulations and well done on a fab season.

Slightly further east but just as fast, well done to the great Parys Edwards for getting a 4th place at the Phuket 70.3. A successful south east Asia tour! High 5!

We’ve often spoken about San Sebastian here and of course there was a FOT contingent at the marathon today. First home for the club was speedy Johan Olivier in 2h52 and very close behind him was the wonderful (and awesome athlete) Paula Rutherfoord scoring a marathon PB in 2h55! Running some super good negative splits Jason Wentzel came home in 3h24. Felicidades amigos!

Closer to home, well done to Rob Grey Maverick Dark running series. Hope it wasn’t too spooky.
