Mallorca

May training holiday at Hotel Valentin, Playa de Muro, Can Picafort

2024 dates: 27 April – 4 May

With amazing weather, bike-friendly roads and jaw-dropping vistas, it’s no wonder Mallorca has become a staple of the Ful-on Tri calendar. Part cycling-holiday, part tri camp, you’ll enjoy training under blue skies with sea swims, pool sessions, coastal runs, and epic cycling routes and climbs, with the occasional coffee stop thrown in.

On site, swim sessions are provided in the outdoor heated 25m pool and, with the beach just a five-minute walk away, expect coached open water swimming in turquoise waters. The coastal path is ideal for runs and brick training, while iconic cycling routes await exploration, including Sa Calobra – one of Europe’s finest climbs.

Mallorca takes its social side seriously too. Daily buffet breakfasts and dinners, and other fun social events provide the perfect opportunity to meet new training buddies and bond with your fellow club members, all while enjoying some well-earned recovery.

Sunshine and open water training

Clock up the kilometres in the heated outdoor pool or take a short walk to the beach for open water swimming under the watchful eyes of the coaching team.

Make new training buddies

Finding new training buddies and making friends is easy as you swap stories of the day while stretching tired limbs or enjoying some well-earned recovery.

Ride down (then up) Sa Calobra

One of Europe’s finest climbs, Sa Calobra starts with a 10km descent down stunning switchbacks before engaging your legs and lungs for the climb straight back up.

Lanzarote

Early-season holiday at Club La Santa

2025 dates: 1-8 February

Ful-on Tri’s first training camp of 2025 takes place in Lanzarote at Club La Santa – a dedicated sports resort and popular winter training destination for pro and amateur athletes alike. This is your chance to perfect your swim technique, run off-road or on-track, and explore the island’s exciting cycling routes while soaking up some winter sun.

Club La Santa is perfect for triathlon training. Among the huge line up of facilities are three 50m pools – all outdoors and heated – a large bike centre and a 400m athletics track. Plus, just outside the resort are off-road running trails and a network of challenging cycle routes on quiet, well-surfaced roads.

With a great balance between swimming, cycling, and running, this holiday will help everyone become stronger triathletes and achieve their personal goals for the season. There’s also a huge social side. Optional group dinners (usually at one of the great value, on-site restaurants) and other social events take place every night, meaning it’s also  a fantastic way to meet new people and get to know your clubmates.

FoT Weekenders

Weekend social & training getaways

We introduced our Ful-on Tri Weekenders so you don’t have to wait so long between training holidays. These 1-2 night getaways offer a weekend of tri-based activities with your like-minded clubmates. Arriving Friday evening and returning to London on Sunday, you don’t even have to use up any annual leave.

2024 dates to be announced soon!

New Forest

Scenic cycling, lush open water swimming, and ponies galore made for an unforgettable late spring escape to the Hampshire beauty spot. Our first trip in May 2022 was a great success and has become an annual fixture.

Isle of Wight

Lonely Planet agrees, the Isle of Wight is one of the top cycling destinations in the world – and we are looking forward to our late summer getaway packed with rides, runs, sea swims and hopefully sunshine.

Dorset

November might be the off season, but we’ve got a club excursion in the calendar. We’re off to the Jurassic Coast, timed to coincide with the Endurance Life trail runs, available in a variety of distances.
