Race Report W/E 22nd March

As I sit watching Boris urge us all to stay indoors, I hope that everyone is keeping safe and well and as far away from each other as possible.

We are being a responsible club, and have cancelled all group training sessions, however many of our coaches have stepped up to the challenge by offering Facebook live core sessions and Zwift/Discord spin sessions to make sure we are keeping fit and healthy! I’m sure we can keep pushing each other along using modern means. Hopefully we will soon be back out training and racing.

Sussex Endurance Life

I am sure no one was expecting to see one of these so soon, after our normal routines have changed so dramatically. But no race will go without a race report, especially not one as tough as the Sussex endurance life CTS on Saturday 14 March. 2 of our members were out racing including Euan Lees running the 10km (apparently closer to 13km) and Gina Siebler signed up to the half marathon. Euan, running a very strong race, came in second in just over 54 minutes. Racing machine Gina completed the half in just over 3 hours. Congrats to all!

As always, drop an email to fixtures@fulontri.com with omissions, upcoming races and things to add to the race calendar or extra bits of news that help add colour to the reports.

Keep safe, keep sane and keep training (at a safe distance).
