Race Results W/E 4th November
And suddenly it’s November, the mince pies have hit the stores, coffee cups have turned wintry themed, and Ful-on Tri Christmas Party tickets are on sale (get yours now, especially if you think you’ve won an award, as you’ll get a cool cup to drink out of. Just ask Ruth or Nick how well that turns out…) Meanwhile, in an effort to preempt the silly season, or else to make themselves sillier during that season, a number of members were out racing again this weekend.
Firstly, congrats to Team Hulk’s Smashed for winning the Trick or Treat night last Thursday.
On Saturday, it was the Ballbuster Duathlon, a run-bike-run event including 5 reps of Boxhill in total. Well done to James Evans for completing the event. James also had the chance on sunday to be one of the swimmers to escort Ross Edgley into his final swim on his round-the-UK swim.
Huge congrats go to Xavier Faux-Mo, who earned himself a half marathon PB at the Richmond Half on Sunday.
Well done also to Chris Brown for a strong performance at the New York Marathon on Sunday.
This Saturday sees round 2 of Cross Country, where the women will be out to take League 2 by storm and regain their spot in League 1, all while eating cake, and the men will be out to defend their position within the League.
