Race Results W/E 8 July

Thank you Xav for taking over the report last week – I appreciated the break (and the chance to party post-IM – did y’all hear the after party was on a boat? It was. We rubbed shoulders with the celebs (see photo). And my liver has just about recovered, I think.)

Now, back to business: Haukur Hemisson and Enrique Pinel took on the Ironman European Championships in Frankfurt. On a hot and windy day, both guys put on a good show and finished well in a very competitive field.

Mateus Pimenta had a good race in a strong field at the Hever Castle middle distance on Sunday, which doubled as the English National Championship race.

Meanwhile in Sweden, Nick De Bouillane and Jonathan Saunders raced the Jonkoping 70.3. Both boys had a strong race, with Nick finishing 4th in his age group.

And finally, Xavier “Spiderman” Faux got his hands (and everything else) dirty at a Tough Mudder on Saturday.
