Two things are certain in life: taxes and FOT’s weekend fantasticness!

First up is the return of the wonderful Parys Edwards on the middle distance circuit. We last saw Parys in action at Ironman Wales where she smiled her way to an overall silver medal and we are picking her up in the slightly more tropical destination Kanchanaburi, Thailand. What a comeback to … grabbing a well deserved bronze medal in the pro field. Well done Parys!

In the equally as exotic destination of Miami, USA, Sarah Lewis was on full comeback form too … and grabbed a bronze medal in the Miami 70.3 in the pro field too. Massive High 5s! Great to see you back.

Much closer to home it was CTS Suffolk, a great flat and fast of course course. Well done to Alistair Duvoisin and Sam Playfair on the 10k. On the half marathon, Pete Doubleday won his age group. Well done as well to Alex Bump, Francis Kung, Sybille Schorm and Mark Sempers.

Back overseas, The greatest country in the universe hosted Le Grand Trail des Templiers. Super speedy James Ellis made it to the start … and to the finish pretty swiftly. He covered the very mountainous 75km off road course in less than 8h and finishing 27th overall. Félicitations!

In Valencia, well done to Eimear Toomey for running the Valencia Half Marathon.

And finally, I am simply in awe in front of our fellow club mate Katie Wright who has run from Chepstow … to Chepstow. Easy you say? She run the entire boundary of Wales to do so. That’s an incredible  33 days and 1066 miles journey. Visit her Just Giving page to donate to Bloodwise. Chapeau!

Been seen, be safe!
